Overview

VariQ has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Engineering Technician V to support the USCG ISSO contract in Norfolk/Portsmouth, VA.

 

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Dependent upon experience
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI
  • Availability: ASAP

Responsibilities

  • Aid in CASREP support, troubleshooting, and development of support documentation for TS/SCI shipboard telecommunication and electronic systems.
  • Plans and assists in oversight of system maintenance and installation.
  • Work with Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO), Engineering Changes (EC), and Engineering change packages.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience working with commercial off the shelf (COTS) or Government off the shelf (GOTS) Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and SCI Networking systems.
  • Experience working with shipboard and shore station systems.
  • Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing USCG telecommunications and electronic systems.

 

Education:

  • Preferred -
    • Associate Degree in Engineering or completion of USCG or DOD Technical Schools

 

Expertise:

  • Preferred –
    • Experience working with commercial off the shelf (COTS) or Government off the shelf (GOTS) Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and SCI Networking systems
    • Six years of experience in electronic systems troubleshooting and repair, including both shipboard and shore variations.
    • Two years of experience working with C4ISR Systems.
    • Experience with Shipboard Signals Exploitation Equipment increment E and increment F, AN/USC-148D (V) 2 Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Networks, WMEC Cryptologic Replacement System

 

Clearance:

  • US Citizen with Top SECRET / SCI
