VariQ has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified IT Support Specialist to support our VariQ office in Maryland.
Primary responsibilities will be providing initial point-of-contact and support triage for all corporate IT Support needs supporting approx. 250 end users, incident management to include: case creation, escalation and resolution documentation using Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM). Additionally the candidate will perform Asset Management activities using our Configuration Management System (CMS) on SCSM to include: asset ownership assignments, asset ownership transfers & full inventory audits. The candidate must be professional, friendly and personable with excellent communication and writing skills as this position will require a large amount of communication via email, telephone and in person.
Education / Certifications:
Any applicable training, certifications or college will be evaluated and in most cases will improve the candidates rating. Some example certifications for this position would be: CompTia A+ or Network+, MCP, MTA, MCITP, CCNA.
