    VariQ has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified IT Incident Manager to support the U.S. Department of Homeland Security ONENET in Washington, D.C.

    Additional Information:

    • Available upon award, currently in proposal/bid stage
    • Location: Washington DC (downtown)
    • Security Clearance: must be eligible for a public trust (US Citizenship required for DHS security clearances)
    • Salary: competitive


    • Secure networks and systems 24x7x365 through proactive execution of risk mitigation and remediation activities for known and discovered security issues and threats
    • Maintain data integrity through the prevention of data deletion, alteration, theft, or fraud on Information Systems
    • Sustain continuous business operations and IT service delivery through the implementation of a strategic and effective security posture
    • Comply and adapt to Government and DHS regulations, policies, guidelines, and best practices in order to meet and exceed security requirements
    • Increase public security awareness by delivering quality training, timely notifications and alerts, and spread the importance of security through a variety of communication platforms and mediums


    • Cisco Network Associate certification (CCNA)
    • CMMI experience preferred
    • 5+ years routing/switching experience in an engineering support capacity in WAN networks similar in size, and complexity as OneNet
    • Experience with ServiceNow, Systems Administration
    • Bachelor’s degree in IT related discipline required
