VariQ has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Helpdesk Technician to support the DOS project in Washington, DC.
Helpdesk Technicians perform duties which provide prompt and accurate support and troubleshooting assistance to users of computer applications. They log, diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve and assist users in accomplishing tasks.
Duties typically include activities such as:
3-6 Years’ experience is required with specialized experience, which shall be recent (within three years) and comprised of performing the duties in support of PeopleSoft HCM 8.3 or greater product suite and tool set. Experience shall demonstrate knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM components such as HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Time Administration. Experience shall also demonstrate thorough knowledge of either Performance Management or Talent Acquisition Management. In addition, experience shall demonstrate exceptional communication skills with users using telephone and eMail.
Education: This position requires a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or related fields.
