  • Overview

    VariQ has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Task Lead to support facilities management of client sensitive and classified facilities located around the Washington DC area.  The Task Lead will oversee and manage a group of 8-12 individuals.


    Additional Information:

    • Location: Washington, DC Area
    • Salary: Dependent upon experience
    • Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
    • Period of Performance: 5 years


    • Provide facilities and construction management to include electrical, mechanical, potable and wastewater, HVAC, landscaping, and carpentry support to verify client mission compliance.
    • Overseas-cleared TS subcontractors that are providing the following support:
      • Maintaining regular scheduled maintenance;
      • Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical power systems, lighting, alarm systems, and access controls; maintain facility grounds;
      • Provide carpentry support to maintain and repair facilities;
      • Building walls, roofs, doors, and other structural components integral to the building; and construct, repair, install, and related communications equipment.
    • Must travel to each site on a set schedule as requested by the client.


    • Experience leading large teams within a Federal setting.
    • Previous experience working within the DOT, FAA, DHS, or federal law enforcement preferred.
    • Experience with National Security Emergency Preparedness (NSEP) requirements preferred

    Education Requirements/Years of Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree (Masters Preferred) in a related field. Additional years of experience can used in lieu of a degree
    • 8+ years’ experience.
