    VariQ is seeking an experienced Task Order Management/Program Management Office (PMO) Director to support its business development organization, Sector Leads organized by agency, and Lines of Business (Cyber Security, SW development, and Infrastructure). This position will manage the administration, knowledge management, and coordination of the Alliant 2 contract vehicles as part of the VariQ BD organization. The ideal candidate possesses business development and operational management experience, and demonstrates the ability to handle several complex projects simultaneously while maintaining a calm, collaborative, inclusive, yet confident leadership style.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Qualification, win strategy development, shaping and proposal development activities leading to the successful capture of new business and re-compete opportunities.
    • Managing a Task Order Management Office for the IDIQ/GWAC vehicles.
    • Serve as the Capture Lead and Proposal Manager for Alliant 2 bids
    • Working in close partnership with Sector Leads and Lines of Business.
    • Coordination with leadership and others to drive the process for responding to competitive task orders.
    • Actively manage the pipeline of opportunities to ensure a robust pipeline and ability to bid
    • Analyzing metrics to assist with vehicle trends and pipeline development.
    • Conducting business intelligence and market analysis pertaining to Alliant
    • Support with development of formal client SDLC artifacts (e.g., Project Charter, etc.)
    • Develop weekly reports on key project activities
    • Develop alternatives analysis across multiple areas (scope, requirements, design, development approaches, contingency plans, etc.)
    • Develop Ad Hoc Integration support work products to facilitate stakeholder decision making
    • Develop executive level presentations as requested
    • Schedule and facilitate client meetings

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 10 years of experience
    • 5 years of management experience, and IDIQ PMO experience
    • 5 years of experience using a CRM such as Dynamics, Salesforce or other tool
    • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills rapidly
    • Ability to learn client business and processes effectively
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Ability to support deliverable creation using MS Office Suite at the intermediate or expert level skills in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Word
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
    • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Understanding or training in the Shipley Proposal Process 
    • Proven record of success in managing complex capture projects throughout the entire Federal acquisition lifecycle from inception to award.

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Master’s Degree, MBA
    • Experience and proven track record with Alliant GWAC
    • Proven track record leading teams with IDIQ/GWAC task order submittals.
    • Proven experience building a viable, new business task order funnel.
    • Excellent business development skills with the ability to easily work across many organizations.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and resolve issues quickly.
    • Secret or Top Secret clearance or ability to get one
