    VariQ has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Operations Assistant to support the US House of Representatives in Washington, DC.

     

    Additional Information:

    • Location: Southwest Washington, DC
    • Salary: Dependent upon experience
    • Security Clearance: None
    • Available: ASAP

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor all office administrative functions and transactions, and track status of projects and program operations
    • Maintain an efficient office environment, to include ordering supplies and arranging for repair of office equipment, and assist in the oversight and accounting of inventory
    • Support the Program Manager and direct reports in monitoring team productivity and customer satisfaction
    • Perform data input and collection,  to include maintenance of databases and spreadsheets
    • Update call tracking data to assist system administration and engineering team members
    • Analyze ticket call data to identify trends, aging tickets and project work progress
    • Schedule customers and coordinate technicians, IT parts and shipping of supplies for onsite support in remote locations

    Qualifications

    Required Candidate Skills:

    • Ability to pass background check to receive a Public Trust
    • College graduate with a BS degree
    • Strong familiarity with MS Office Skills, especially MS Excel
    • Experience with updating/maintaining an online database
    • Demonstrated customer service skills, plus if communicating with customer regarding billing (AP or AR)
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Proactive and attentive to detail
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
