VariQ has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Project Manager III to support our client in Washington, DC.
Location: NE DC
Salary: dependent upon experience, competitive salary
Security Clearance: must be able to attain public trust
Available: upon award, anticipated within 30 days
Typically oversee all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects.
Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project.
Provide business and system analysis and long and short-range plans for business solution, systems development and maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.
Assessed and administered changes so that change control activities are planned and executed in conformance with procedures. Shepherd projects through appropriate compliance gates to meet systems lifecycle requirements. Domain knowledge such as IT may be required depending on the requirement of the task order.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Program Management, Program Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or comparable field. Master’s or Advanced Degree preferred.
Experience shall include 12+ years on a project, 8 years in federal space required.
