  • Overview

    VariQ is seeking a .Net Applications Developer for a long-term, funded contract with a high profile client. The developer will be primarily responsible for the support and maintenance of a web application. The application was created to provide data collecting and reporting services for approximately two hundred (200) end users.

    • Salary: Dependent upon experience

    Responsibilities

    • Ability to back-up and recover data;
    • Ability to produce standardized, customized, and ad hoc reports, displayed within the system and exportable in MS Word, MS Excel (.xlsx, xls, csv), and Adobe.pdf;
    • Ability to search and exchange data between each of the modules
    • Ability for expansion and modification of records, data fields, reports, and users;
    • Ability to control user access to view, read, or modify data via a ‘privilege’ hierarchy;
    • Ability to import from and export data to an existing HR Access database (i.e. Excel delimited file, MS Access, or other format as requested)

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) and 5+ years of relevant progressive experience.
    • 5+ yrs of experience maintaining and enhancing .Net (ASP.Net and C#) web applications with MS SQL or Oracle backend database.
    • Experience with Visual Studios required, SharePoint knowledge strongly preferred.
    • Ability to produce standardized, customized, and ad hoc reports, displayed within the system and exportable in MS Word, MS Excel (.xlsx, xls, csv), and Adobe.pdf;
    • Ability to search and exchange data between each of the modules
    • Ability for expansion and modification of records, data fields, reports, and users;
