    VariQ has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Mid Cloud Systems Administrator to support the US Mint project.

    • Salary: Dependent upon experience

    Responsibilities

    Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. Sets up administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation for cloud infrastructure and tenant inventory, tunes system performance, installs system wide software and allocates mass storage space. Builds tools that automate and streamline processes to make operations more efficient. Responds to large-scale events involving instantiation of virtual resources. Diagnoses and fixes critical software and system failures. Proposes, drives, and implements technical solutions for automation, efficiency and scalability. Performs analysis and presents periodic reviews of operational performance of cloud to leadership.

    Qualifications

    Experience Requirements:

    6 - 9 years experience (must have at least one certification or equivalent from the following list and maintain throughout the task order: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (Amazon Web Services), CCNP Cloud (Cisco), MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure (Microsoft), and Vmware VCP7 - CMA).

     

    Education Requirements:

    BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline.
