    VariQ has an immediate opportunity for a Cyber Program Manager in DC. The Program Manager should have 8+ years of combined experience in computer/engineering program management to support cybersecurity systems. 

     

    Additional Information:

    • Location: Washington DC
    • Available: ASAP
    • Security Clearance: ability to attain a public trust required, active DoD secret highly preferred
    • Salary: dependent upon experience

    Responsibilities

    • Working knowledge of NIST and FISMA
    • Understanding of policy and guidance pertaining to security compliance and privacy programs.
    • Utilize knowledge of information security methodologies/standards including experience with SA&A, documentation, and analysis of security risks and trends.
    • Proficiency in MS Project software
    • Conducting Project Planning and development of project planning documentation
    • Planning and directing tasks
    • Determining resource requirement and costs
    • Preparing schedules for the overall project as well as SA&As
    • Monitoring progress of task and preparing progress reports
    • Reviewing products before they are delivered
    • Communicating with all levels of management orally and in writing
    • Resolving complex problems that impact system availability
    • Monitoring program performance and recommending improvements

    Qualifications

    Education:

    A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related degree is required.

     

    Years of Experience: 5 years

     

    Certifications:

    • PMP highly desired
    • Required Technical certification: 1 of the following: CISSP, CISM or CISA
