We are seeking a talented AWS Developer to support our project that enables US leadership to stay informed on world-wide events. International and publicly available TV and Radio station signals are streamed and viewable through a proprietary application, designed like a modern system resembling Netflix or YouTube. Users can select channels, rewind back several weeks, select segments of programs for clipping, and auto-record programs at specific times and dates like that of a DVR. The AWS Developer will help to maintain and optimize this service.


Additional Information:

  • Location: Remote
  • Salary: Dependent upon experience
  • Security Clearance: TS SCI required, full-scope poly desired
  • Available: ASAP


  • DevSecOps for an audio-video application
  • Optimizing and maintaining a/v ingest sources
  • Scripting and updating Lambdas in the AWS cloud environment


  • Experience building software applications on Linux and in an AWS environment
  • Software development using Python
  • System Administration
  • Strong experience using DevSecOps principles

Highly desired:

  • Audio and Video Encoding in Realtime using FFMPEG, H.264, H.265, and similar coding formats in any cloud environment
  • Experience in Go, Node.js, or other scripting languages

Education Requirements/Years of Experience

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related
  • 6+ years software development experience
  • 2+ years serverless development experience desired

Desired Certifications

  • AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS Developer, AWS DevOps Engineer, or similar
